Job Scope

​

• The project Contracts Manager in conjunction with the Site Manager has to supplement the master construction programme with a detailed procurement schedule to show the lead times required for materials purchasing and appointment of Subcontractors. 

• The updating of the procurement schedule shall be carried out regularly by the project Contracts Manager in conjunction with the Site Manager and Planner.

• Ensuring that Subcontractors/Suppliers are sourced to meet the milestones shown in the Procurement Schedule

• Maintaining the ‘Approved Subcontractor/Supplier List’ (ASL) and making recommendations to the Director-in-charge for appointment of new Subcontractors/Suppliers not on the ASL.

• To maintain all drawings, sketches, information, calculations, data and records pertaining to survey work carried.

• The distribution of revised procurement schedules shall be initiated by the project Contracts Manager and authorized by Project Head
