MS Teams FAQs
Q1. Who and when will the group chats be made ?
The Chat groups will be created by designated Teams admin based on the request. A new request can be raised through CREST which will be further followed by IT team to create the teams and chat group.
Q2: Internal collaboration between the within individual entity or combined with all entities ?
The idea is to manage the group chats based on the project centric and department centric, hence all the entities can be combined under the same group chat. However, if you are raising an approval from one domain and the approver is in another domain, the approver has challenge to view the files directly, hence approvals need to be raised to the same domain user.
Q3: If any file got uploaded mistakenly who has authority to remove the file and can I take out the file myself ?
In the Teams and Channels, we can set the user access such as read only and read and write option. If a user is set with read level access, he cannot upload any new files/ modify existing files, where the other can edit, delete the files.
In group chat, the files will upload to the chat are stored under files tab, once it is uploaded, it can’t be deleted.
